A GitHub Action to easily bump version files

Installation

Copy and paste the following snippet into your .yml file.

 
              
- name: Bump Versions

              
  uses: remorses/bump-version@v3

Choose a version

Bump version

Bump the version number in the provided version_file. Bumps version numbers found after lines containing [bump].

Usage:

- name: Bump version
  uses: remorses/bump-version
  with:
    version_file: ./VERSION
