Adds the EXTRA_FIX option to the lammps build.
Maybe this could be on a branch given that it wont be used so often

I'm happy to have it in the main branch if it builds without any extra dependency.

Could you please add back the PR template and fill it in? It is there for a reason =) In particular, you need to update the build number here.
