@mshafer-NI comparing to some other Renovate configs:

• https://github.com/ni/nitypes-python/blob/main/.github/renovate.json enables weekly lock file maintenance (for poetry.lock) and automerges patch-level updates. This repo doesn't have any lock files, just GitHub Actions.
• https://github.com/ni/measurement-plugin-python/blob/main/.github/renovate.json also updates Git submodules, but this repo doesn't have any of those.
• https://github.com/ni-kismet/renovate-configuration/blob/main/ni-github-renovate-configuration.json has the branch prefix, disables the Dependency Dashboard (but I like the Dependency Dashboard), and has other configuration options that I haven't evaluated.

BTW, I don't think automerge or platformAutomerge is appropriate for this repo because it doesn't have a PR/CI workflow to run any tests.
