@matthias-pichler-warrify thanks for taking the time to make the pull request. Think having the gotcha is helpful, the only minor suggestion would be to capitalise API in the rest of your sentence for consistency.
Do any of the maintainers require anything else for this pull request to be merged?

I added one of the Gotchas of Api Gateway WebSocket Apis that definitely got our team. I am also considering adding one about the fact that a custom Authorizer can only be added to the
$connectroute which is basically the follow up Gotcha to this one.
