Privacy Policy
Torrent clipper's Privacy Policy
Torrent-clipper itself does not collect any data that is then stored remotely by anyone associated with Torrent-clipper.
This is because:
- Torrent-clipper has no home server.
- Torrent-clipper doesn't embed any kind of analytic hooks in its code.
However Torrent-clipper makes use of Google Chrome's storage API, specific it's sync functions, which if logged into chrome, will save the data provided to Torrent-clipper remotely to the signed-in Google Account, to make use of it's synchronization capability.
The user can easily opt-out via not being logged into a Google account, as the sync function will then default to saving the data locally.
As such any data provided while signed-in to a Google Account is only handled by Google itself (Google's Privacy Policy).
This Policy is susceptible to change in regards to how Torrent-clipper utilizes the storage API, but not it's collect-no-data policy.
