Feature list for New PSSI website

Software Stack: Django1.7, python2.7, PostgreSQL.

1. Home page

   • Display information about PSSI .
   • FAQ Page: how and why to become member.
   • News: Blogs
   • login/register link
   • All Local user group information. (Need to come up with plan) (see #5)

2. Login/register Link: Link where PSSI members can login or new PSSI members can sign up and do the payment online.

   We can have new members signup based on Email confirmation. Once we get confirmation from an email, will redirect user to enter profile details and further to payment section. We are looking to use service like CCAvenue, Instamojo or other best thing available for payment.

3. Once user has logged in, he/she can see Forms, Policies.

      • Recent Activities (if any)
      • Logged In users Membership Info and other details

   2. Forms

      • KG award form
      • Form to nominate board members
      • Travel allowance form
      • Contact form to contact board/pssi members.

   3. Policies

      • Travel Allowance
      • Mini conference
      • Python Month/PythonExpress

   4. Members

      • Board members (designation, from date) - Button to promote any board member to higher post
      • Members(From date) - two button : Renewal, show expiry date

4. Donate link where people /organisation can donate to society as per their interest.

5. Have a map on the site that shows the current local user groups across the country and the one closest to the user. If there is none, the user can start and list one.
