Also clarify which functions are scene-referred vs. display-referred.
Implement opto-optical transfer functions to adapt scene-referred transfer functions to a display-referred model, per ITU-R BT.2100. For Rec.709, the ITU-R BT.1886 transfer function (pure power 2.4) is used. Processing of Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) is not fully conformant, due to technical limitations.
