Become a sponsor to Joannis Orlandos
Who I am
I'm Joannis Orlandos, a cross-platform Swift blogger, evangelist, educator and maintainer.
What have you done so far?
I'm the co-creator of Hummingbird 2, a modern Swift Web Framework ecosystem that is high performance and extremely low memory usage.
I've also created various native Swift database drivers, such as for example MongoKitten, and Citadel - the SSH and SFTP toolkit for Swift.
Through my collaborations as a member of the Swift Server Workgroup, I'm actively contributing to a large diversity of opensource projects every day, including OpenTelemetry, Redis, SwiftNIO in addition to Embedded Example projects and creating content for the Swift ecosystem.
Why you should sponsor me
I love Swift, and have been actively focussed on OpenSource for the past nine years. If you sponsor my GitHub account, you'll cover the expenses I make that make all of this possible - such as hosting my blog and CI. In addition, you're sponsoring my time on OpenSource, allowing me to spend less time on paid consultancy projects.
The sponsorship enables me to keep putting free time into the ecosystem and its various needs.
I also offer consulting and software development services, where I can help you with various topics ranging from app architecture to implementing complex custom components and SDKs.
