Some tips...

"I don't have a server..."

PhotoShow works with most free web servers available. This means that you can register for free to get a web server (usually with some ads on it), and then put the PhotoShow archive on it. I'll create a "standard" PhotoShow configuration installable immediately on any web server soon.

French people can register for a free account at Free here.

My mum/dad/grandmum/granddad/other isn't comfortable with the admin interface

I'm sure they are comfortable with their Desktop interface, right ? "classic" folders, etc... Well, here is something cool :

PhotoShow is compatible with DropBox !

Just install PhotoShow the normal way on your server, and place the Photos directory inside your DropBox folder (no need to put the generated directory in it).

I love this RSS feed...

So, just grab any RSS feed parser script, and have the output go to a subdirectory of your Photos directory. Put it in a CRON task. Voila, the images from the RSS feed will automatically be displayed on your website !

Synchronize your local Photos directory with the PhotoShow one

Well, the whole tip is in the title : take any script that automatically synchronizes the Photos folder on your website with your local one. And you're done. You can even decide to put that as a subdirectory of PhotoShow's Photos folder... Just to be able to add photos not related to your local photos library.
