This repository is a fork of the last original release of energytycoon from source forge (see below details) which aims at update and rework it to make it compile against up-to-date dependency libs and run on recent Linux and Windows OS.
Therefore, the status of this fork should be considered as totally experimental or alpha at best.
Energy Tycoon is a free software game under MIT license where you build up and manage a large electricity company. It is written in C++ and use Ogre as main engine among other dependencies.
Build your own energy empire! Choose from 25 different power plants, mines and other company buildings. Explore new buildings, and trade with raw materials such as coal, gas and uranium. There are several maps, each with many missions, plus a tutorial series to learn the game. Run on green energy or coal and nuclear power and win as many customers as possible!
