v1.3.1 - 6 December 2016

This release focuses on bugfixes, error reporting & interface improvements.

New in this release:

  • Added error notifications and pre-start validation for time-lapse
  • Save to SD error checking and reporting
  • Context menu (lower-right button) for time-lapse clips. This brings up options to save to SD card (if present) or delete the clip
  • libgphoto2 updater functionality: after updating it should prompt to upgrade the camera support library.

This will add support for the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, and likely a few others in the same generation like the 80D and 1DxII. If the libgphoto2 update is interrupted, it will prompt to complete it next time wifi is connected.

Changes in this release:

  • Disabled exposure menu for Sony since LV is not supported
  • Enforce save to SD card for Sony
  • RAW images are enforced when saving to SD card
  • 'Destination' now defaults to 'SD Card' if an SD card is inserted during setup
  • Gesture sensor is now only active while a time-lapse is running

Bugfixes in this release:

  • Fixed issue with status screen not updating properly
  • Time-lapse setup menu show/hide parameter bugfixes
  • Menu system bugfixes
  • Time-lapse Clips with a frame count of 'NaN' are now automatically fixed
  • Updated gesture sensor tuning fixes issues on some units and improves performance
  • Fixes an issue where a fixed exposure time-lapse tried to use an interval of zero seconds if the interval was set to variable in the auto ramping mode.
  • Fixes an issue with the gesture sensor being blocked during time-lapse in v1.3.0
