v1.4.1
v1.4.1 - 29 December 2016
Bugfix from v1.4.0: corrects an issue with it locking up when sending logs via Settings->Send log for review
Notes from v1.4.0:
New in this release:
- External interval option via AUX2
- AUX2 trigger motion sync (2.5mm TRS cable from AUX2 to motion equipment -- no settings needed)
- Progress bar for time-lapse player
- Thumbnails for Time-lapse Clips menu
- Send log files from time-lapse clips for debugging and error reporting
- Create a new time-lapse based on settings from a previous clip
Bugfixes:
- Red light for power button lights sooner after power-on (u-boot update provides this)
- Fixes an issue where the UI locks up after responding to the SD card prompt while on the main menu
- Fixes and issue with minimum interval enforcement that could cause shutter ramping to fail on short intervals
- Fixes UI lockup in Timelapse Clips menu if no clips are present
- Improved speed of loading previous time-lapse clips
- New u-boot version prevents a potential issue that has affected some devices if the card detect on the micro-SD slot is unreliable and caused failure to boot
Note: this release includes a kernel update that will automatically reboot after installing, so be aware the install process will take longer than normal.
Don't forget that even if a new feature is not yet in the manual, there's always the on-device help by pushing the power button.
