v1.8.17 - 2021 March 8

Update to v1.8 stable release for critical bugfix. For more info on v1.8, see https://github.com/timelapseplus/VIEW/releases/tag/v1.8.0

Critical Bugfix

  • Corrected a critical bug related to unescaped logging occasionally inadvertently triggering a double-free in sh (the parent process which was saving the output log), causing the camera driver to crash and not restart until the VIEW was restarted. This particularly affected the Sony A7IV with v1.8.16.
