EXPERIENCE

Telenor Procurement Company (TPC)

Business Analyst, Performance Analytics (January 2019 - Present). TPC is the procurement arm of Telenor Group, a global telecoms operator with networks in 8 countries.

  • Built and maintains a department’s analytics functions from scratch, including the schema design and ETL of a data warehouse (PostgreSQL) and the data visualisation platform (Power BI)
  • Consolidated internal and external data sources into a database to provide product teams with a comprehensive overview of internal and market trends for smartphones
  • Developed and implemented a new analysis model to simplify and enhance pricing and technical analysis in Network sourcing projects, leading to a reduction in time spent on pricing analysis from 4 hours (Excel) to 30 minutes (Access)
  • Performed root cause analysis in category strategy and management that identified a 200 mNOK loss making product, leading to a shift in category strategy
  • Initiated and maintains the use of Confluence to manage knowledge sharing and documentation from local files to a cloud-based platform
  • Worked with various functional stakeholders in Asia and Scandinavia to deliver insights and recommendations to device teams and senior management on maximising device value and procurement

Kpler

Data Analyst Intern, Products (Dry Bulk), (August 2018 - December 2018). Kpler is an intelligence company providing solutions in energy markets, aggregating data from hundreds of sources.

  • Improved reliability of daily shipping data & accuracy of cargo metrics, backtesting data to ensure & improve data quality & reliability on the product platform
  • Initiated and created excel reports for Kpler clients and business development team

ABN AMRO Bank N.V.

Intern, Trade & Commodities Financing (Energy & Metals), (August 2017 - January 2018). ABN AMRO is a Dutch bank serving corporate clients in Singapore, with annual profits of EUR 2.8 billion in 2017.

  • Conducted financial & credit analysis for various clients in relation to credit approval & financing
  • Analysed department’s risk-weighted assets to reduce regional spending, improving cost allocation optimisation of at least USD20 million
  • Built a database & tracker on Excel to monitor & analyse credit facility utilisation & income, identifying potential client needs based on their transactions & utilisation patterns
