I know this isn't Go code, but if you don't mind giving it a quick skim to see if it makes enough sense, I'm thinking of advertising it in a forum of people who have the BirdWeather device.

I wonder if there's a way to preview...?

If you did feel excited to practice some Go, you could even try removing the cobra library for me :-D

i might add a little more detail here. The rest of the doc is how to set it up and use it, but even a personal touch about your kids looking at the email each day or something. I love the last sentence, since that's the real reason!
