oe3:afol is a non-interactive music creation program. the basic use pattern is to run it, wait for it to create some noise, listen, and then give it a reward/valoration so the system starts to get some experience.
information about running the program for the first time can be found at docs/INSTALL. it should work on any recent GNU/Linux system, the DEPENDENCIES file can help in setting up the environment.
