  1. Select the "Create Devices from RRA2 Repeater" menu option.

  2. If you want all the created devices group by type (Dimmer, Switch, Keypad Button, etc), select "Device Type". If you want all devices located in a specific Area (Room) grouped together, select "Device Location".

  3. By default, the plugin will only create Keypad or Phantom button devices for buttons that are actually programmed to a load or scene. If you want devices created for un-programmed buttons, select the appropriate checkbox(es).

  4. If you use Timeclock events, you can auto create Event Triggers for all those events. This is purely a convenience feature.

  5. If you have motion sensors, you can auto create Group Triggers for those sensors. The advantage of using Groups rather than the individual sensors for triggers is that multiple sensors in one room will all be counted in one Group.

  6. Click on the "Create" button. This can take several minutes to complete, as downloading the XML data from the repeater isn't very fast. Watch the Indigo log for the completion message.

This process will not create duplicate devices. You can use the auto create process to update your existing devices with button type and area (room) information, which makes the room popups in the dialog boxes more useful.
