Lutron Fan Controller devices have five possible speed settings (Off-0%, Low-25%, Medium-50%, Medium High-75%, and High-100%). The Indigo Fan Controller device type only has four possible speed settings (Off, Low, Medium, and High). The plugin handles this mismatch as follows:

  1. The Indigo Medium speed is mapped to the Lutron Medium High speed. Off, Low, and High are directly converted. There is no way to set the device to Medium (50%) speed using the Indigo client GUI or Indigo fan device commands.

  2. There are plugin actions available to set the fan directly to the Lutron speeds.

  3. The Indigo "cycle" command cycles through ALL the fan speeds: 0%->25%->50%->75%->100%->0%.

  4. The Indigo GUI will show "Medium" when the fan is set to either "Medium" or "Medium High".

  5. A custom device state is available that represents the actual fan speed.
