#36 is merged

The intent of these changes is to:

  • make package naming more idiomatic
  • reduce the number of packages overall
  • remove "Factory" as a pattern when a more conventional things.NewThing() sufficies
    • many "Factory" calls were creating a new struct from a separate but similarly named package and returning that

These changes bring the code base closer to idiomatic go though there are still a lot of patterns which do not seem to be idiomatic Go.
