Themes and Groups Update
Groups are used to control access to projects in Autotune.
Autotune comes with a Generic
group if nothing is specified. New groups are added as they are encountered during authentication and authorization.
A theme is a set of variables stored as json that are passed on to the project. This can include colors, styles and social media account handles.
Themes follow an inheritance model. Every group has a default theme. More themes can be added to a group and they inherit from the default theme. Values specified at the theme level override the default value.
See customizing themes for more information on setting up your own themes.
Users with access to a group can use a theme according to their role privileges.
An editor on a group has access to all the projects created for a group.
Themes can be edited by superuser
and designer
role.
